When multiple goods or variants must be modified simultaneously, a spreadsheet is frequently utilized. On Shopify, however, this activity can be performed via bulk editing. It may also be used for modifying Shopify collections, customers, inventory, blog articles, and web pages. Moreover, it is recommended to use a bulk editor for online browsers such as Google Chrome, Firefox, and Safari, except Internet Explorer (IE). Since Internet Explorer restricts the length of URLs that may be viewed, issues may occur when using the bulk editor, which works by adding extra parameters to URLs. If other browsers do not impose a length limit on URLs, identical warnings will not appear and you can use them. If you're still curious about how to pick products for mass editing on Shopify, continue reading to discover the steps.

Step 1: Go to Products

Sign in to your Shopify account and navigate to Products. This section contains several subcategories, including All products, Transfers, Inventory, Collections, and Gift cards; however, the system will default to the All products part. Consequently, you will see a list of all your products on the screen, as depicted in the image below.

Step 2: Tick on boxes

You will find a checkbox next to each item in the list, which you can use to choose the products that you wish to modify in bulk. Note that you can select one or more items simultaneously. You may alternatively choose all of your products by checking the first box with the icon next to it. In other words, the box remains beneath the Filter.

Step 3: Select Edit products

Immediately beneath the search bar, the number of selected items will appear on the screen following the selection. Next to it is a button labeled Edit products, which you should click. For instance, if I wish to modify the first three items in the list of products, I can pick these three checkboxes, which will result in the selection of three products. In addition, the Edit products button remains between it and the Actions button that I need to click on Edit products.
