How to Update Minecraft Game for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, And Switch

First, go to your Xbox One Dashboard and open "My Games and Apps". 2. Here, select Games from the upper-left corner


3. Now select "Minecraft" from the list.


4. From the right side of your Guide button select the 'Menu Button'


5. From the menu that has displayed, select 'Manage game and add-ons'


6. Then click on the 'Update' tab.


7. If the update fails to start automatically, you can select and press A to begin the downloading.


8. Follow the steps on the screen for the final step. Keep waiting until it is finished. When it is fully updated and installed, then you can begin playing the game with ease.




Follow the steps below to update Minecraft on PlayStation 4: 1. First of all open the game library or select Minecraft from the Dashboard.


2. After clicking on "Options", a menu will open.


3. From the menu, select 'Check for Updates'


4. You will now be presented with an option to choose from and you can click "Go to Downloads" and you will be redirected to Download Page where you can check and view update/download status.


5. It may take a few minutes to complete the download once you have completed it.

6. Once the download is completed You will be presented with the option to "Ready to Install" Click this to continue the installation process.


7. First first, click "Update" to install the update. Then press X and once again press X. A drop down menu will open, and the update will begin to download on your PlayStation 4 hard drive.
